S9E17 Frimpong Ping Pong

Good John is unavailable this week so it’s just F Bomb John and Krys on this week.

We start off with the news of Glasgow City clinching their 13th league title in a row.

After that we discuss the positive results that Rangers and Celtic got in Europe.

We start the domestic chat with the Championship and Ayr continuing to struggle since McCall left. East Fife remain unbeaten in League One.

The Premiership saw Kilmarnock continue to do well and St Johnstone get their first win of the season. The top two both won on Sunday. We discuss how poor Aberdeen were.

We preview the midweek action, League Cup semis and congratulate Fauldhouse United on advancing to next round of the Scottish Junior Cup.

Thanks as always for listening.

S9E16 Cove’s Salty Tears

The team are back as it’s the regular trio who are on.

We start off with a review of the Scottish Cup action from the weekend. F Bomb John is happy with not only Talbot beating Cove but the fact he made a few quid too. The guys discuss the reaction from Cove after the match.

This leads us on to lower league chat with League One being exciting at the top. East Fife remain the only unbeaten team in Scotland.

The Premiership saw a change at the top of the table as Celtic responded well from what had happened before the international break. Aberdeen surprised a lot of people including the two John’s by getting a convincing win against Motherwell. We discuss whether St Johnstone are in a relegation battle after their defeat in the Saints derby.

We finish off by previewing the upcoming European games for Celtic and Rangers.

Thanks as always for listening.

S9E15 Pretendy Fitba

Krys and Good John are on this week to chat about the ups and downs of the Scottish national team, following a heavy defeat in Russia and a heavy victory in the heavy rain against San Marino.

The ins and outs of these dead rubbers for Scotland are discussed, as well as the overly complicated situation with the playoffs from the Nations League. There’s even the revelation that the Nations League itself has miraculously changed format and no one except John seems to have noticed.

There’s also the Challenge Cup to discuss, and the lack of highlights that go with it. Fortunately we did get to see a wonderful free kick from Scott McLaughlin which beats off Stuart Armstrong’s free kick for this week’s #pickitoot

We finish up looking forward to the weekend Scottish Cup and domestic league action as international football gets packed away for another month.

Thanks as always for listening.

S9E14 Culio Living in Glasgow’s Paradise

It’s the two John’s on this week as they discuss what has been going on in Scottish football.

They start off by going to last Thursday and the European action which saw mixed results for Rangers and Celtic.

This leads us on to domestic action which saw Celtic slip to a defeat to Livingston as Rangers went top of the league. Kilmarnock and Motherwell continue to impress while St Mirren continue to struggle in front of goal.

We then go back to Friday where Dundee United lost to Alloa in what was regarded as a surprise. Ayr couldn’t take advantage though. At the other end of the table Partick Thistle remain at the bottom. The best of League One and Two are covered.

F Bomb John talks us through Auchinleck Talbot v Pollok which saw a couple contenders for our #pickitoot moment. In the end we went with Gordon Pope’s rocket which was the third goal for the home team.

We preview the Scotland games where we’re not expecting much.

Good John then talks up through the upcoming Challenge League games.

Thanks as always for listening.
